We Make the Best Ice Cream Bars

This past weekend, Creamies was nominated by Utah Manufacturers Association as one of the coolest things made in Utah.  We might be a little bit biased, but we think Creamies ice cream bars are pretty cool for several reasons.

1—According to FDA regulations, to be called a premium ice cream, a brand must have less than 50% air, called overrun. Most ice creams people eat, like Fatboys, Meadow Gold, Nestle, and Blue Bunny, have about 30-50% air. Creamies has 0%, making the air content even lower than super premium ice cream regulations. Have you noticed how Creamies melt significantly slower than other ice cream bars? That’s why! You’re getting more ice cream for your buck. That’s just one reason we believe we make the best ice cream bars.

Creamies Healthy Ice Cream Bars

2—Some ice cream companies, like Halo Top, talk about how healthy their ingredients are. Compared to their competitors, this is true, but compared to Creamies ice cream bars, you won’t notice much of a difference. Just a simple comparison of Halo Top’s strawberry ice cream highlights this: “Skim milk, eggs, erythritol, prebiotic fiber, milk protein concentrate, cream, organic cane sugar, organic strawberries, vegetable glycerin, natural flavors, beet juice (color), sea salt, organic carob gum, organic guar gum, organic stevia leaf extract.” If anyone can tell us what erythritol or carob gum is, that would be great. Needless to say, you probably don’t really want to stick that in your body. Creamies ice cream uses very natural ingredients such as milk, sugar, butterfat, strawberry puree, cream, vanilla, salt, and a few stabilizers to prevent ice crystals from forming. We think natural is better.

Creamies Ice Cream Flavors

3—Creamies are great because there’s so much variety. Most people don’t know that Creamies come in 12 different flavors—chocolate, banana, orange, strawberry, root beer, cookies and cream, cherry, mint, vanilla, raspberry, and peach. For whatever mood you’re in, there’s Creamies flavors for it. There are ice cream, frozen yogurt, dipped, and specialty flavors.

4—Creamies has a unique, fun history. In the late 1950s, an ice cream company was asked by a Utah grade school principal to make a nutritional frozen treat with milk instead of sugar water. The principal wanted a treat that would be healthy for the students and would be enjoyed by the whole family. He went to work and soon developed a delicious ice cream bar made with real fruit and other natural flavorings. You know the rest of the story. He made what became known as the Creamie. From its humble beginnings to now, people across the West love Creamies.

So for all these reasons and more, we have to agree with Utah Manufacturers Association that Creamies is a pretty cool brand.
