We Make the Best Ice Cream Bars
This past weekend, Creamies was nominated by Utah Manufacturers Association as one of the coolest things made in Utah. We might be a little bit biased, but we think Creamies ice cream bars are pretty cool for several reasons.
1—According to FDA regulations, to be called a premium ice cream, a brand must have less than 50% air, called overrun. Most ice creams people eat, like Fatboys, Meadow Gold, Nestle, and Blue Bunny, have about 30-50% air. Creamies has 0%, making the air content even lower than super premium ice cream regulations. Have you noticed how Creamies melt significantly slower than other ice cream bars? That’s why! You’re getting more ice cream for your buck. That’s just one reason we believe we make the best ice cream bars.
Creamies Healthy Ice Cream Bars
2—Some ice cream companies, like Halo Top, talk about how healthy their ingredients are. Compared to their competitors, this is true, but compared to Creamies ice cream bars, you won’t notice much of a difference. Just a simple comparison of Halo Top’s strawberry ice cream highlights this: “Skim milk, eggs, erythritol, prebiotic fiber, milk protein concentrate, cream, organic cane sugar, organic strawberries, vegetable glycerin, natural flavors, beet juice (color), sea salt, organic carob gum, organic guar gum, organic stevia leaf extract.” If anyone can tell us what erythritol or carob gum is, that would be great. Needless to say, you probably don’t really want to stick that in your body. Creamies ice cream uses very natural ingredients such as milk, sugar, butterfat, strawberry puree, cream, vanilla, salt, and a few stabilizers to prevent ice crystals from forming. We think natural is better.
Creamies Ice Cream Flavors
3—Creamies are great because there’s so much variety. Most people don’t know that Creamies come in 12 different flavors—chocolate, banana, orange, strawberry, root beer, cookies and cream, cherry, mint, vanilla, raspberry, and peach. For whatever mood you’re in, there’s Creamies flavors for it. There are ice cream, frozen yogurt, dipped, and specialty flavors.
4—Creamies has a unique, fun history. In the late 1950s, an ice cream company was asked by a Utah grade school principal to make a nutritional frozen treat with milk instead of sugar water. The principal wanted a treat that would be healthy for the students and would be enjoyed by the whole family. He went to work and soon developed a delicious ice cream bar made with real fruit and other natural flavorings. You know the rest of the story. He made what became known as the Creamie. From its humble beginnings to now, people across the West love Creamies.
So for all these reasons and more, we have to agree with Utah Manufacturers Association that Creamies is a pretty cool brand.
I really love Creamies ice cream bars; they are delightful!. They remind me of the old, long gone Banana Fudgesicles of yesteryear. I get them whenever I visit my grandchildren in New Mexico. However, I live in Louisiana, and in a state with the kind of heat and humidity common to this region, I cannot buy or have Creamies shipped; go figure! Will Creamies ever be sold out east?
Hi Eugene,
Thank you for your kind comment. We are sorry you cannot find them in Louisana right now.
We are currently working on getting ourselves to the southern states. We are also working on making it possible to ship them, it can be costly.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
I really appreciate you making such a high quality treat with the best ingredients that you can. Hoping more companies will follow your example.

Are you able to buy direct at you Logan facility?
Hi Adam, You can buy large quantities from our Logan facility. Is that what you are looking for?
My daughter (Utah born and raised) has moved to Delaware. Her husband nor his family have never had a Creamie! Do you sell them in Delaware or Pennsylvania? We’ve got to get this creamy goodness to them.
What happened to banana dipped in Chocolate? They were the best. I’ve looked everywhere.
Hi Valerie, at the current time we thought it was best to drop that flavor; however, we are now considering on bringing it back. We will keep you updated.
I buy all the Banana out at all the grocery stores near me lol. Love them. Never seen the Peach. Would love to try it. We are in Montana but will move to UT for Creamies! Eating them as I speak
Hi Kimberly,
Thank you for the wonderful comment. Thank you for being a Creamies fan. We love getting these kinds of messages. We have 14 flavors and unfortunately they are not all sold in each state or grocery store, there are only a select amount of stores that actually sell all of them. If you want an alternative to ice cream, our peach frozen yogurt is a great option.
Can you make chocolate dipped banana creamiest please
